Jaye E. Okamoto is presently Of Counsel to the firm. Jaye holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of California, San Diego and his law degree is from California Western School of Law. He is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Southern, Central and Eastern Districts of California and the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
While in law school, Jaye received the American Jurisprudence Award for the highest academic achievement in Torts and served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Robert M. Takasugi, United States District Court, Central District of California.
Jaye has successfully tried numerous cases to jury verdict and represented clients in cases involving commercial trucking, government torts, real estate, insurance and broker bad faith, dental malpractice, environmental claims, construction defects, workers compensation and elder care.
Jaye has served as a Judge Pro Tem in the South Bay branch of the California Superior Court, County of San Diego. He served on the South Bay YMCA Board of Management and an organizer of the JACL Kids Culture Day. Jaye is currently also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Christian Education from Bethel Seminary.
