Nicholas A. Prukop

Nicholas A. Prukop is an associate of the firm. His practice focuses on the defense of medical malpractice claims and long-term health care facilities, including residential care and skilled nursing facilities.

Nick earned his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business in 2016, with a Minor in Sports Media Studies. While at USC, Nick was also chosen to participate in the prestigious business course LINC Australia. He obtained his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2019.

Prior to joining Wilson Getty, Nick worked for a few other defense firms gaining experience with personal injury, corporate law, and products liability cases. He has successfully negotiated and secured many favorable settlements on behalf of his clients, utilizing his skills in drafting and arguing legal motions to position his clients for efficient case resolution.

Nick also has experience as a judicial law clerk, as he worked under the Honorable Karla N. Smith on the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Maryland immediately after law school. There, Nick drafted numerous judicial opinions and Court Orders in connection with a variety of both criminal and civil state law cases during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nick is licensed to practice before all California State Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
