Carrie Phelan

Carrie Phelan joined Wilson Getty as an associate in 2022.  Carrie received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, cum laude, from Loyola Marymount University in 1987.  She obtained her law degree, Order of the Coif, from Loyola Law School, in Los Angeles, CA and was admitted to practice in the State of California in 1990.

Carrie has over 30 years of civil litigation experience.  Prior to joining Wilson Getty, Carrie worked for over 20 years at Travelers and The Hartford as a member of their staff counsels.  She has represented individuals, contractors, design professionals, property owners, homeowner associations, product manufacturers and distributors, cities and governmental agencies in defense of personal injury, premises liability, product liability, construction defect, maritime law and design professional liability cases.  Over the past 30 years, she has achieved outstanding results for her clients at trials, arbitrations and mediations.  Carrie enjoys using her engineering background and analytical skills to devise effective strategies to defend her clients.  She looks forward to applying her education and experience to the defense of medical professionals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and hospitals.

Carrie is admitted to practice in all California state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California.
