Jonathon C. Fuller
Jonathon C. Fuller became an associate of the firm in January 2020 after graduating from law school in May 2019 and passing the July 2019 California Bar Examination. Jon’s practice focuses on the defense of medical malpractice and long-term health care facilities, including residential care and skilled nursing facilities.
Jon earned his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton in 2015. Upon graduation, he began working as a claims adjuster at Allstate, inspiring his love of analytic thinking, problem solving, and negotiation. Jon followed his passion receiving a scholarship to California Western School of Law in San Diego California. While in law school Jon was selected to be one of only five students to represent the law school in the prestigious Jessup International Moot Court Competition, the oldest and largest international moot court competition in the world, making it to the pacific regional quarter finals.
Jon also gained real world experience volunteering with California Western’s Community Law Project, assisting low income citizens with a wide variety of legal concerns. During the summer of his first year, Jon was privileged to be chosen as one of two externs for the Honorable Dana Sabraw who sits on the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. While there, he learned federal law and procedure and gained real world experience in the workings and practice of the federal courts. During the summer of his second year, Jon was again privileged to be chosen to clerk for Justice Ming Chin, Associate Justice on the California Supreme Court in San Francisco. Jon assisted Justice Chin in researching statute and case law on a wide variety of issues, and learning how the highest court in California interprets laws, makes decisions, and issues directives to all courts below.
Jon is admitted to practice before all Courts in the State of California, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
