Michael Marshall is an associate of the firm. His practice focuses on the defense of skilled nursing and long term care facilities in actions involving allegations of wrongful death, professional and general negligence, and violations of the Elder Abuse Act.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as in-house counsel for a skilled nursing provider, offering risk management, dispute resolution, and in-servicing solutions directly to facility staff. He has defended individuals, small businesses, insurance carriers, and public entities in civil litigation matters of every size and scope, and is experienced in both jury and bench trials. He has also devoted his legal practice to public service, obtaining custody and support orders for victims of domestic violence.
Michael earned his B.A. in History from Pepperdine University in 1995. He worked for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation before returning to Pepperdine to obtain his law degree in 2001, where he studied constitutional and administrative law.
